COVID-19 Shop Update

Written by Rachel Howe

During this time of uncertainty, we intend to remain open in any capacity we can to continue to service our local community and beyond. We are assessing on a daily basis how best to follow the government guidelines whilst also looking after our staff and customers.

As a food business, our shop on Pavilion Road remains open. We have amended some policies and practices and heightened existing ones to ensure we are doing all we can to create the safest environment to shop and work in.

We are currently operating a ‘one in, one out’ service, meaning only one customer may be in the shop at one time. It is a small space and this allows for the appropriate amount of distance between staff and customers as we move around the shop. We will continue providing excellent, informative service but for the time being have suspended tasting cheese out in the shop. Though it has not been suggested that the virus can be passed through food, we are not willing to take any chances. As always, we ask that customers refrain from handling the cheese or utensils.

We will only be accepting card payments as a way of reducing contact.

Strict health and hygiene practices are and always have been an integral part of our work. During these times, we will be increasing the frequency of our usual measures as appropriate.

To maintain an efficient service, we have reduced our opening hours to 10:00 – 17:00 every day of the week.

Though we are here for all those able to make it out of the house, we encourage everyone to take advantage of the delivery options we offer. Click here for more information.
