Little Pomona 'To Boldly Go, Who Mourns For Grapes?' 2022
Sparkling, off-dry cider/perry/cherry co-ferment.
Where do we begin with this one!?
It began with sour cherries, left to macerate, subsequently pressed together with Discovery apples from Cotswold Orchards. Later blended in was some tannic perry in order to help clarify the liquid and to provide weight and flavour. The final blend being a third of each fruit.
Bright cherry red in colour, with beautiful aromas of sweet cherry, almond blossom, ripe pears and bubble gum. It is a full-on riot of cherry and pears in the mouth, with the Discovery apples providing subtle red fruit perfume. Creamy, with lovely pillowy bubbles and the little sweetness remaining from the perry makes this just about the perfect drink for late summer!
Absolutely fabulous with charcuterie.

London Deliveries are made in our sturdy shop carrier bags. If you would like your order boxed, please leave us a note as you check out.
All subscriptions are delivered free using our national overnight service.
